📅 Itinéraire de la visite

Morning – Departure & Trekking Start

• Early breakfast at your hotel (or take a packed breakfast)
• Pick-up from hotel in Maumere
• Drive approx. 45 minutes to the trekking start point near Blidit Village at the foot of Mount Egon
• Guided trek begins through forested volcanic trails toward the summit
• Trekking time: 3 à 4 heures (medium difficulty — good stamina recommended)

Summit Experience

• Arrive at the top of Egon Volcano with spectacular views of Maumere Bay
• Voir steam and volcanic smoke rising from the crater, with strong sulphur scent in the air
• Option (if energy permits): descend partially into the crater for a closer look at the volcanic epicenter
• Spend time enjoying the dramatic landscape before the descent begins

Afternoon – Return & Optional Cultural Visit

• Trek down via the same scenic route
• Drive back to your hotel in Maumere
• Optional: Visite Dokar Village in the afternoon to experience local culture, traditional ikat weaving, and dance performances (extra activity — not included in base price)
