Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Labuan Bajo → Denge Village → Wae Rebo Village
Start the adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Labuan Bajo. Drive east toward Denge Village with scenic stops along the way. From Denge, begin a trek (about 3 hours / ~9 km) through lush forest paths to reach the traditional mountain village of Wae Rebo — unique for its iconic Manggarai thatched houses and rich cultural heritage. Enjoy local hospitality and overnight stay in a traditional house.
Day 2 – Wae Rebo Village → Denge → Cancar → Ruteng
After breakfast in Wae Rebo, explore the village further and interact with local people. Trek back down to Denge village and continue driving toward Ruteng. Stop in Cancar (Cara Village) to see the famous “Spider Web” rice fields — one of the most scenic agricultural landscapes in Flores. Arrive in Ruteng for hotel check‑in and overnight.
Day 3 – Ruteng → Liang Bua Cave → Bajawa
Depart from your hotel in Ruteng, then visit Liang Bua Cave, the archaeological site where the ancient Homo floresiensis remains were discovered. Continue driving to Bajawa, stopping at the Ranamese Crater Lake for photos and scenic views. Visit Aimere Village to see how the local people produce traditional Arak Flores alcohol made from palm juice. Arrive in Bajawa and relax — overnight stay in your chosen accommodation.
Day 4 – Bajawa → Bena Village → Blue Stone Beach → Moni
After breakfast, explore Bena Village, a traditional settlement with fascinating ancient megalithic structures and local culture. Continue driving toward Moni Village, stopping at Blue Stone Beach for a break, photos, and optional swim in its striking blue coastal waters. Arrive in Moni village, check‑in at your hotel, and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Day 5 – Kelimutu Three Color Lakes → Maumere or Ende
Wake up early and transfer to the parking area near Kelimutu Volcano. Hike up (about ~30 minutes) to witness the breathtaking Kelimutu Three Colored Lakes — a spectacular natural phenomenon where crater lakes change colors. After exploring the volcano, return to Moni for breakfast, then drive to Maumere or Ende at the end of your journey. Drop‑off at your hotel or the airport — tour ends here.
