Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Labuan Bajo → Denge → Wae Rebo Village
Pick‑up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo. Drive to Denge Village, stopping along scenic spots. Trek through lush forests (~9 km / ~3 hrs) to reach the traditional mountain village of Wae Rebo — famous for its impressive cone‑shaped Manggarai houses. Meet local villagers and enjoy cultural immersion. Overnight stay in a traditional house.
Day 2 – Wae Rebo → Denge → Ruteng
Breakfast in Wae Rebo village. Trek down to Denge and then continue driving toward Ruteng. Stop at Cancar to see the unique “Lodok Spider‑Web Rice Fields” — a striking natural rice terrace. Arrive in Ruteng and check in at your accommodation.
Day 3 – Ruteng → Bajawa
After breakfast, drive toward Bajawa (approx. 5 hrs). Visit Liang Bua Cave, the archaeological site of Homo floresiensis (called the “Flores Hobbit”), and take photos at Ranamese Crater Lake. Continue to Aimere Village to see local palm‑based arak (traditional alcoholic drink) production. Arrive in Bajawa for check‑in.
Day 4 – Bajawa → Riung
Depart in the morning for Bena Village, a traditional settlement where you can walk around and interact with locals. Continue toward Riung with a stop at So’a Natural Hot Springs to relax. Overnight stay in Riung.
Day 5 – Riung Marine Park Excursion
After breakfast, take a boat into Riung Marine Park, visiting several islands: Kalong Island (for thousands of fruit bats in the mangroves), Bako/Tembang, Rutong, and Tiga Island — great spots for snorkeling, swimming, and marine life observation. Return to your accommodation in Riung.
Day 6 – Riung → Moni Village
