The Characteristic Of The Phinisi/Pinisi boat is as Below: Palari, The Palari is an early form of Phinisi Ship, with a wider keel (Bottom Part of the Boat) and a side rudder similar to the lamba type. Palari Come From The word “to run”, this hull shape is similar to the hull of the Padewakang, ship Used by the Sulawesi People for fishing. Lamba or lambo, Lamba or lambo is moderen Phinisi/Pinisi that is survive until today, this type of hull is now equipped by the Diesel Engine (KLM), This hull shape is using since 1990s, taking its shapes from European Ship.
